IPAC-List: Personnel assessment discussions among IPAC members and friends

About IPAC-List

This is a forum for IPAC (formerly IPMAAC) members--and other professionals interested in issues of personnel selection and assessment--to exchange ideas and opinions.

Compared to other HR lists on the internet, our goals and the nature of our discussions are more specific. We are a low-volume list, and have been known to go days with no traffic, with periods of brief intense activity around certain message subjects. We believe that quality and relevance is more important than the sheer number of messages.

If you're not familiar with electronic mailing lists, the concept is simple. Folks who want to participate in the discussions "subscribe" to the list. Then, by sending an email message to the special list address, you automatically share it with all of the other list subscribers; likewise, you'll receive the messages sent to the list by other subscribers.

If you're interested in staffing, selection, and assessment, we hope that you'll join us and participate actively in the discussions!

Subscribing to IPAC-List

Subscribe to IPAC-List by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.

You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
