[Hackrf-dev] 5 MSPS sample rate

What about the concept of increasing the bitrate of the samples? I
don't know if its technically possible or not. But the spec does state
dual 8-bit so I'm wondering if there is a way to leverage via the
firmware so that it outputs 12 or 16-bit with a 10msps or 8msps max?
