Well, if you want to try something that's very bodgy, and uses a second receiver
controlled via hamblib to actually do the listening, you could try onsense:

it's a crazy thing really, being a wrapper script for osmocom_spectrum_sense
that tries to handle frequent crashing of osmocom_spectrum_sense.  It will tune
the secondary rx to the strongest signal in the scanning range and try to avoid
flapping around too much, with varying degrees of success.

If you have an analogue receiver that's controllable via hamlib, then that will
work as your second rx.  I think it will also work with gqrx and another SDR
(t)rx as the secondary rx.

The RF environment around here is so grungy that I don't enjoy using it all that
often (I often end up listening to harmonics of the local oscillator in my
Elecraft KX3 HF transceiver), but when my ADSB stuff spots some interesting
military aircraft lurking around the nearby training area, it will sniff out
what frequencies they are on.
