[Hackrf-dev] Success under MacOS Mavericks...and some questions

After multiple failures trying to build a working version of GNU Radio
v3.7.5 under Mac OS Mavericks with Macports, I finally got a clean build
and success with using the HackRF One with grqx. I'm using the latest
Xcode, Xcode command line tools, XQuartz and Macports versions.

My failures seemed mostly related to bad checksums particularly with the
boost package dependencies. Sleuthing through the forums led me to do a
clean uninstall of all packages, plus an obscure note about DNS servers
potentially having something do with this (?!). I repointed my default DNS
to the Google mothership. Since I changed two variables at once, I'm not
sure which one did it, but I got a working GNU Radio build out of it.

Questions:

(1) Under Kali Linux (and probably Pentoo), HackRF supports gr-scan. I
don't see gr-scan available under Macports. Would be curious to hear from
other MacOS users if they have built gr-scan from source or have similar
scan tools for HackRF under MacOS.

(2) I Googled around and found a couple of people who either provide GRC
code or at least display GRC FlowGraphs for particular applications with
their HackRF Ones. Are there are repositories or collections of GRC
applications for the HackRF out there for hams and other groups (WiFi
researchers, etc)?

Cheers and 73s de Bob, WP4BQV/VQ9BQV.
