Alex,
Here is what happens. It just isn't going to let me get out of this mess.

There is a conflict with the gr-iqbal package provided by Ubuntu
14.04. Try removing that first
sudo apt.get remove gr-iqbal
Then you can continue with installing or uninstalling.
