Hi,
I write a experimental HACKRF firmware (introduction and download:
http://sdr-x.github.io/abar ) to let your Phone/Pad "see" air ADS-B info
via HACKRF:
Plane --> 1090MHz ADS-B --> HACKRF --> 2.4GHz BTLE --> Phone/Pad
The firmware runs standalone. That means you all you need is a battery.
Computer is not needed any more!
Because ADS-B and BTLE packet are sparse and rate is low, that's why I can
have them run in the single MCU of HACKRF and share transceiver&antenna in
TDD style.
(To lower risk, latitude and longitude accuracy has been degraded
intentionally)
