[Hackrf-dev] Lesson 11 GnuRadio version?

I checked back in the mailing list archives, to see how I installed in
the first place on Ubuntu, and I believe I followed the instructions at:

That Wiki page has been deleted (there is a note by Michael saying he
deleted it because it was causing folks to install an incorrect version
of hackrf (I didn't seem to have that problem).

The wayback machine at the Internet Archive doesn't have that page
cached. Is there another copy archived some place?

I'm guilty of not having taken notes while doing the initial install (my
bad), since I was relying on being able to access the wiki page in the
future if I needed to re-do.  In particular, I'm doing a talk at my
local radio club this evening on GNU Radio and the HackRF One, and I
wanted to show how simple it is to either run Pentoo from USB (which I
have) or to install using the package manager on Ubuntu.

I sure don't have the time to show how to install from sources using
PyBombs in a 45 minute talk.

I'm running 3.7.8 and I have problems with the flowgraphs because they
use the new QT widgets but I only have the WX widgets installed.
There doesn't appear to be anything in the flowgraphs that you could
not build with 3.7.5 and the WX widgets if you would like to avoid
upgrading for now.

The easiest way to keep up to date with GNU radio and the other
associated tools is to build them from source using PyBOMBS:
https://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/pybombs/wiki/QuickStart

This is smart enough to use the dependencies that you already have
installed from the Ubuntu repositories (if possible). You will need
to apt-get remove the gnuradio binaries that you have installed.
