Mike,

If the purpose of the job analysis is related to developing an employee
selection/promotion process, the IPAC has a Oct. 2010 webinar on this
topic, free to members at ipacweb.org.

You might also suggest the Sergeant get some ongoing guidance and
assistance as he plans and conducts the job analysis. Job analysis is
easier said than done.
