WRIPAC has an excellent manual that is a "how to" resource.

Subject: [IPAC-List] "How to" Source for job-task analysis

I received a request from a police sergeant who is conducting a "job-task
analysis" as part of an independent study. He is looking for a "how to"
document and a "best practices" document. Does anyone have some suggestions
I can pass on to him?

Thanks,

Mike
