I am sorry to report the passing of *John Hawk*, 1935-2012.  John was 
the psychologist at the U.S. Employment Service, in the U.S. Department 
of Labor, for over 25 years during the heyday of the General Aptitude 
Test Battery (GATB), which was used by the state employment services to 
screen applicants for employment.  John retired from the U.S. Employment 
Service in 1994.  He was a member of SIOP and PTC/MW.
