Mike Fetzer (with SHL) chaired an interesting symposium a couple of weeks ago at SIOP in San Diego (Current Research in Advanced Assessment Technologies) that focused on high-fidelity multitasking simulations . . . nicknamed "cool assessments".

He recently emailed me the set of powerpoints for all presenters, which I'm certain he'll do for you, upon request (mike.fetzer at shl.com).

I suggest you look at Ted Kinney & Mat O'Connell's presentation about what they are doing at Select International, Inc., if you're interested in "cool assessments" of multitasking ability & performance.
