[IPAC-List] ASVAB Scoring Error

[Joel Wiesen]

In 1978, an error in the score reporting for the ASVAB resulted in the 
US military hiring 200,000 people in the lowest 10% of candidates. None 
of these candidates would have been hired without the scoring error.

I am looking for any descriptions of this error and its consequences.
