[IPAC-List] Selection Assessments for Social Workers

Hello IPAC Members,

I am looking into updating a selection assessment for entry level social workers. I want to find out what other cities/counties/states are using to evaluate applicants for this type of position. In particular I would like to know:

Are you using an assessment developed in-house or a vendor (if so, who)?
In what format is the test (multiple choice, open-ended questions, simulation, etc.)?
What competencies are you measuring?
How long does the process take?
Has the assessment been successful in identifying high quality applicants?
