You might want to reach out to Tom Ramsay at Ramsay Corporation (www.ramsaycorp.com<http://www.ramsaycorp.com>). I’m not sure if he has anything that fits this need but he specializes in selection tools for the production and manufacturing sectors.

I have a public-utility client who is looking for entry-level pre-employment testing that has been criterion-validated elsewhere for their gas service technicians and construction technicians related to natural gas. (They would like to transport the validity from similar jobs to their company, if possible).

They thought that they might be able to use the Edison Institute’s (EEI) CAST test, but apparently EEI will only let gas companies use the test if they are an electric and gas company.

They would also consider an “off the shelf” test that can be content validated if they cannot find one from which they can transport the validity to their company.

I am hoping that someone might have some suggestions for an entry level test for these positions for which a criterion -related study can be transported. If not, any suggestions on an “off the shelf” test?

Thanks in advance,
