Utilizing unofficial results, the Campaign of Mark Shea for Traffic Court 
Division C, Orleans Parish, declared victory. Judge-elect Mark Shea said:

“I started this campaign by acknowledging my family’s legacy of service to 
the City of New Orleans. There has been a Shea on the bench every year since 
1963. I would like to thank the voters of Orleans Parish for this commanding 
victory and giving me the opportunity to continue this service. I value their 
endorsement of my credentials and character.

“I also recognize the support and hard work of those who volunteered in and 
endorsed my campaign. Early and strong support gave my campaign momentum.

“This court is about public safety. I take this responsibility very seriously 
and pledge to offer fair service to all.”
