LEESVILLE, LA—Mayor Robert Rose will hold a press conference on Thursday, April 19th at 1:00 p.m. in the Leesville City Council chambers to discuss Leesville’s current status and future growth strategies. The press conference will serve to articulate the benefits growth presents for both the City and Vernon Parish. Joining him in support are local public officials and business leaders. Topics of discussion include:
 
·         Annexation as a mutual goal of the Parish and City
·         Facts on the benefits of annexation for residents
·         Endorsements of Parish mayors and other public officials
