Operation Spark to Hold In-Person Graduation Showcase Thursday, September 22nd
Team to present original grad thesis app: Vibe Society, an app made for all types of music lovers, from the casual listener to the hardcore festival/concert goer. 
WHAT:      Operation Spark, a non-profit coding bootcamp dedicated to changing lives by advancing technology skills for today’s workplace, will hold an in-person graduation showcase for its Advanced IBC (Industry Based Credential) certified students. Graduates will demonstrate a unique new app and take questions from the audience. The public is invited to attend and learn more about the program.

WHY:      The graduates will present their thesis projects - an app they have developed from beginning to end. Cohort W will presentVibe Society, a mobile-focused web app that allows users to not only discover new music, but to also stay up-to-date on their favorite artists: vibesociety.vip. It is an app made for all types of music lovers, from the casual listener to the hardcore festival/concert goer. The current graduating class of six students now hold Advanced Industry-Based Credentials in the Fundamentals of Javascript, Functional Programming, and Web Development.Software development is the fastest-growing job market in Louisiana. Over the past six years, Operation Spark has trained and placed nearly 300 graduates in high-paying technology jobs.
