I'm pretty sure BorIP still uses Balint's RTL2832U driver and not the
newer gr-osmosdr (which has support for HackRF and various other
hardware).

You could try adding gr-osmosdr support to BorIP, or you might want to
pursue building an ExtIO plugin for HackRF (or gr-osmosdr?).
