[IPAC-List] Video Exams

IPACers:

I am in the process of drafting a guide entitled, "How to Develop Exams with Video Prompts." The Columbus Civil Service Commission has been developing exams with video elements for almost ten years now--whew time flies. I'm finally putting the process down into a "how to" guide to be used internally by test development staff. We may eventually need to hire new personnel and we'd like to ready for such an occurrence.

As part of this guide, I'd hoped to provide a brief history (1-3 paragraphs) of the use of video prompts in employment exams. In digging through the materials we have at the Commission, I fell short of finding anything that discusses this topic.

So I turn to you--the well informed. Could you point me toward resources that provide some background information about the use of videos in employment exams?
