[IPAC-List] Supervisory Probation Period: A Missed Opportunity

The Office of Policy and Evaluation of the MSPB has added a new article to
the  <http://www.mspb.gov/studies/latestnews.htm> MSPB Studies Flash page of
the MSPB web site titled "Supervisory Probationary Period: A Missed
Opportunity."  Use of the probationary period to identify effective
supervisors is critical to organizational performance because of the
extensive impact supervisors have on the performance of the workforce.
