[IPAC-List] 2011 & 2012 IPAC Conferences

IPACians,

I'm sure you'll be hearing more about it, but for starters - the 2011
conference was one of the best organized, best attended, most informative
we've had . . . which is saying quite a lot given the quality of previous
conferences. If you didn't make it to D.C., well, you didn't make it to D.C.
Sorry, but boy did you miss a fine event. My thanks to the many people who
spent hours and hours making it happen. They've set the bar very high.

I went from D.C. to Vegas, where some of the 2012 conference crew is meeting
with hotel staff to negotiate for space and amenities for next year. If
anything comes to mind that you would really like to be on the table during
those negotiations, please let me know immediately, i.e., what would make
your attendance a well-nigh certainty (other than a great program). So far,
we've got deluxe rooms for $74/night, free transport between airport and
hotel, in-room coffee, and even computer printers/faxes in some rooms.
Working on free or cheap internet access. What else?

Sorry for the short time-line, but 2012 is going to have to be spectacular
to even approach the conference we just had. Thank you,
