Hello Joel:

The following might be of some interest or use to you, though there
must be more up-to-date references out there:

Embretson, S. (2001). The second century of ability testing: Some
predictions and speculations (The seventh annual William H. Angoff
Memorial Lecture). Princeton, NJ: ETS. (reviews history of testing as
well as likely future directions)

Can anyone point me to a historical review of employee selection
testing, perhaps beginning at the turn of the 20th century?

Thanks.

Joel
