hi Marianne, curious . . . i assume "give me pause" is a negative and
not a positive interpretation, right? if so, then do you mind expanding
on this on bit? that is, what are the inferences that you are drawing
from this? for instance, that the person has limited or no
technological skills? they are too secretive? they lack the business
sensitivity to recognize the importance of being on the internet? that
is, what are the attributions that you are making about the person if
there is absolutely no trace of them on the internet?
