[IPAC-List] Looking for staffing dashboard examples

I've been tasked with exploring the production of a regular dashboard of
staffing-related information for consumption within our organization. 
As the federal staffing-oversight agency, this would be quantitative
information about staffing, system-wide, for use within our
organization.  At least part of the impetus is to reduce overlapping and
redundant requests, and maybe foster a little more patience in folks who
might be more willing to sit tight if they knew that the next dashboard
would be available in a month.  We're not trying to make everybody
completely happy.  If we can deliver 85% of what they need, in
dependable fashion, job done.
 
Do any of you good folk in HR produce anything like that?  For example
a regular summary report on how many applications/applicants we received
at the state level, for the different job families over the last
quarter, maybe broken out by district, EE group, or whatever measures
and parameters are meaningful to your business.
 
I'm on the lookout for examples that would be useful to think with,
tales of woe or success in terms of what format, content, timetable
makes clients happy, or any other issues you can think of.
 
We can discuss here or off-line.  I'm easy.  And if it's something that
someone else produces, even in another jurisdiction or country or bygone
decade, point me to it...please.
