Thanks Mike. That is very interesting. I was wondering whether you knew what types of measures Bio-data covered in the 1991 study. My guess would be that in 1991 it referred to things such as events in people's lives and when they took place, such as "when did you first learn to ride a bicycle?" or perhaps simply events/behaviors such as "Do you play chess?"

There have been several meta-analyses that have updated parts of Schmidt & Hunter (1998).  Attached is a handy table that summarize's those meta-analyses.
