Hi
I to initially found that GQRX was only giving the other option when I
used the HackRF one . I soon discovered that it was my linux Desktop not
recognising the HackRF when I plugged it in my usb .
If you have installed the source code for the HackRF via
https://github.com/mossmann/hackrf.git the command hackrf_info
should identify the details of your device but of course as in my first
instance .....hackrf_open() failed: HACKRF_ERROR_NOT_FOUND (-5) was all
that I got .
The remedy was found at https://github.com/mossmann/hackrf/wiki/FAQ which
is to create a new rules file in the /etc/udev/rules.d folder having
followed the instructions.. my HackRF one is now identified and when I
start GQRX the option HackRF one is given and all is fine now.
