No, I don't mean mysteries, recipes, or self-help books.
 
Rather, what paper, report, book chapter, or book, have you read
recently that gave your thinking about our respective work (or aspects
of assessment or organizational functioning or HR in general) a kick in
the behind?  Could be in a journal, a magazine, an academic book, a
government or consultant-produced document, or even the popular press.
 
Anything you'd care to recommend?
