[IPAC-List] Personality Testing for Entry-level Firefighters

Just wondering if any of my colleagues are using a personality or psychological assessment/evaluation as a hurdle within of their selection process for entry-level Firefighters? This would be in addition to T&E evaluations of employment apps, formal panel interviews, etc.  Also, are any departments conducting background screenings that are similar to those done in law enforcement (e.g., interviews with neighbors) when hiring Firefighters?
